For custom garments your actual measurements will be needed. Below is a list of common measurements and a brief explanation of each to insure a proper fit.

SHOULDERS: measurement entire way across shoulders at the widest point
BUST: fitted over a bra at the fullest part of the bust, please note that this should be the measurement around your bust, not your bra size as bra size can differ from your actual measurement.
WAIST: Measurement of your natural waist. If you wear your skirts off the natural waist please include that measurement as well.
SHIRT LENGTH: measure this from the side of the neck (where it meets the shoulder) down the front of the body (over the breast) and then all the way down to the desired hem length for the top/for DRESS LENGTH measure down to the desired hem length for the dress.
HIPS: measurement at the fullest part of the hips (this may be over the buttocks if that is where you are widest/fullest)
SKIRT LENGTH: measure this from the side of the waist, down your leg to the desired hem length for the front of the skirt. If the skirt you are wishing to order is longer at the back than front, please also include the back skirt length measurement from waist to desired hem of skirt.
BICEP: Measure around the largest part of your upper arm
FOREARM: Measure around the widest part of your arm below the elbow.
NECK SIZE: measurement around the base of your neck

Please include also if you have any specific fitting information or preferences in fit.

Measurements needed for specific garments:
DRESSES: shoulder, bust, waist, hip, dress length, bicep needed for dresses with sleeves.
TOPS: shoulder, bust, waist, hips, shirt length for sleeved tops you will also need a bicep measurement.
SKIRTS: waist, hip, skirt length
BLOOMERS: waist, hip, length
GLOVES: forearm, wrist, length

I am not responsible for fitting errors due to incorrect measurements being provided. Please contact me with any questions about the fit, if there are any. You may wish to have a seamstress or tailor in your area take the measurements needed. Though the garments are cut as close as possible to the size given we can not obviously fit perfectly through e-mail and simple alterations may need to be made for a personalized fit. Custom items can not be returned or exchanged. We will be happy to adjust the garment for you in the case of custom orders or for a small seamstress fee for regular items.
